Welcome to Shark Heritage. These Terms & Conditions apply to all orders placed through our website, sharkheritage.com.
By using this website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before purchasing.
1. About Shark Heritage
Shark Heritage is a jewelry brand offering handmade fossil shark tooth jewelry and ocean-inspired pieces.

2. Our Products
Shark Heritage jewelry is made using genuine fossilized shark teeth, natural gemstones, and durable jewelry materials such as 316L stainless steel and 18k gold PVD plated stainless steel.
Each fossil shark tooth is natural and unique. Differences in shape, size, color, texture, and markings are part of the fossil’s natural character and are not considered defects.
For one-of-a-kind fossil pieces, especially Great White and ancestral Great White shark tooth necklaces, you will receive the exact fossil tooth shown in the product photos.
For made-to-order pieces, the fossil tooth may vary slightly from the photos, but it will be carefully selected to match the product style, size range, quality, and overall appearance as closely as possible.
3. Fossil Authenticity
All shark teeth used in Shark Heritage jewelry are genuine fossilized shark teeth, not fresh modern shark teeth.
Each order includes a Certificate of Authenticity with information about the fossil, including its species, estimated age, and origin where available.
Fossil age and origin are based on the information available from fossil suppliers, geological location, and fossil identification. Because fossils are natural ancient materials, all age estimates are approximate.
4. Prices & Payments
All prices are shown on the website and may vary depending on product options, materials, and shipping destination.
We accept card payments through Stripe, as well as Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal.
Your order is confirmed once payment has been successfully received and you receive an order confirmation email.
5. Order Processing
All orders are dispatched within 2 business days, unless otherwise stated on the product page or during busy periods. Once your order has shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information.
Please make sure your shipping address is complete and correct before placing your order. We cannot take responsibility for delays, failed delivery, or lost packages caused by an incorrect or incomplete address.
6. Shipping & Delivery
Shark Heritage ships worldwide from our small workshop in Czechia, Europe.
All orders are shipped with tracking. Available shipping options and prices are calculated at checkout based on your delivery address and selected shipping method.

UPS/FedEx Tracked Shipping:
Worldwide: 1–3 business days
National Post Priority Tracked Shipping:
Europe: 5–8 working days
United States: 8–12 working days
Rest of the world: approximately 9–15 working days
Delivery estimates are a guide only. Delays may occasionally happen due to customs, holidays, local postal services, weather, or other circumstances outside our control.

7. Customs, Duties & Import Taxes
Orders are shipped from the Czech Republic.
For orders delivered within the European Union, customs duties do not apply. For orders outside the EU, customs rules vary by country. Customers are generally responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees that may apply in their country.
For orders delivered to the United States, Shark Heritage currently covers applicable tariff-related charges, so US customers do not need to worry about additional tariff costs at delivery.
8. Delayed or Lost Packages
All orders are shipped with tracking. If your package appears delayed, please contact us and we will help look into the situation with you.
If tracking has not updated for an unusual amount of time or the package has not arrived after the estimated delivery window, we may raise a claim with the postal service or courier and request an investigation. Postal investigations can sometimes take several weeks, and in rare cases up to 3 months, depending on the carrier and destination country.
However, we do not expect customers to wait indefinitely. If there is still no clear update or solution after 30 days from the expected delivery date, we will work with you on a fair solution, usually by offering a replacement where possible. If the carrier officially confirms the package as lost, we will offer either a replacement or a refund.
We cannot take responsibility for delays or failed deliveries caused by an incorrect address, refused package, missed delivery attempts, or failure to collect the package from the postal service or courier.
9. Returns & Refunds
We want you to love your Shark Heritage piece. If you are not happy with your order, you may return it within 30 days of receiving it.
To qualify for a refund, items must be:
- unworn
- in their original packaging
- returned in a condition suitable for resale
Please make sure your return is packed securely. We cannot refund items that arrive damaged due to poor return packaging.
Shipping costs are not refunded unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect. We recommend obtaining proof of postage when sending your return.

10. Damaged or Incorrect Items
Please inspect your order when it arrives. If your item arrives damaged or you receive the wrong item, contact us as soon as possible with your order number and photos of the issue.
We will review the situation and offer a suitable solution, such as a replacement, repair, or refund, depending on the circumstances.
11. Personalized or Custom Items
Personalized or custom-made items may not be eligible for return unless they arrive damaged, incorrect, or faulty.
12. Product Care
Shark Heritage jewelry is designed for durability, but it should still be treated with care.
316L stainless steel is resistant to tarnishing and suitable for everyday wear. However, fossil shark teeth and natural gemstones are natural materials and may be damaged by hard impact, rough handling, or improper storage.
We recommend storing your jewelry safely when not worn and avoiding unnecessary force, bending, pulling, or impact.
13. Website Information
We do our best to make sure all product descriptions, photos, prices, shipping information, and availability are accurate.
However, occasional errors may occur. If we discover an error in your order, product information, price, or availability, we will contact you as soon as possible.
We reserve the right to update product information, prices, policies, and website content at any time.
14. Intellectual Property
All content on sharkheritage.com, including product photos, text, designs, branding, logos, and graphics, belongs to Shark Heritage unless otherwise stated.
You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or use our content for commercial purposes without written permission.
15. Limitation of Liability
Shark Heritage is not responsible for indirect losses, delays, or damages caused by circumstances outside our control, including postal delays, customs processing, incorrect addresses, missed deliveries, technical issues, or force majeure events.
Nothing in these Terms limits your legal rights as a consumer under applicable law.
16. Privacy
Your personal information is handled according to our Privacy Policy. Please review the Privacy Policy page for details about how customer data is collected, used, and protected.
17. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic and applicable European Union consumer protection laws.
